What does wellness mean to you?

Dear Valued reader,

I’ve been racking my brain for the last 3 year on what I want to do next and I’ve finally decided! I am launching my wellness practice – 231 Wellness.

The Global Wellness Institute defines wellness as the “active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health”.

From this definition we understand that “wellness” is an active process. That means, for a person to be well, they must actively and consistently make choices lead toward an outcome of optimal holistic health and wellbeing. Clearly this is not limited to physical health but extends to mental, spiritual, social, emotional and financial health as well.

In 2014 I experienced a very traumatic loss that changed my outlook on life. It was during the process of healing and recovery that I discovered wellness, self love, yoga, healthy eating, spirituality and manifesting. You see, it wasn’t until I found myself in the healing process that I started to live my life to the fullest. Since then, I’ve gone on to achieve so much in my life and over the years I’ve been experimenting on how I wanted to share my knowledge and journey with the world and I finally decided on a blogging business. What this means is that I’ve finally graduated from blogging as a hobby and I am now making it more professional. In addition to creating super informative blog articles, I am adding (at a limited number of slots) individual and group coaching service.

So What is 231 Wellness anyway?

231 Wellness is setup to provide products and services that makes life easier and less stressful for customers. We curate and create a range of products designed to create balance, joy and productivity for families. Our primary focus is on women’s health and wellness and a majority of our products and services address issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, baby care, cooking, exercise and relaxation.
